WE SEEK TO DISSEMINATE AND APPLY AGAVE PLANTING THROUGH AGROECOLOGICAL AGROFORESTRY SYSTEMS
In the case of planting agave to produce mezcal, at Casa Sabios we look for a way to integrate agroforestry and agroecological systems, derived from the organic agriculture of Hans Müller.
These systems combine agave cultivation with native trees and shrubs, providing a range of environmental and social benefits.
Some of the benefits of agroecological agroforestry systems include:
